Public Debating Not Good Idea For Pauline Marois!

"I hoping the wizard can give me a brain!"

“I hoping the wizard can give me a brain!”

“Oh my, she needs to be off to see the wizard to see if she can get herself a brain” is what I was thinking  from the first question that was put to Pauline Marois and the way she answered it.  In the first debate between the party leaders vying to be Premiere of Quebec. Pauline Marois, the queen of Quebec looked truly hurt, confused and then angry as she was questioned by the other believers “Sovereignists” in the debate, (Quebec Solidaire’s, Françoise David and Coalition Avenir Québec’s leader François Legault), who she thought should be on her side trying to attack the Liberal Party leader, Philippe Couillard.  When she wasn’t doing that, Madam Marois seemed to be constantly looking at and gesturing the moderator, silently begging for help.  What was made clear during the debate was that Pauline Marois should not do debates in any language, because last night’s debate proved that the Queen of Quebec is ill-informed, an inadequate debater and because most of all Pauline Marois shows her every emotion in her face, in her body language and in her voice.  Pauline Marois forgot that they all were vying for the same job and that Françoise David and François Legault were not going to simply set aside what were what they felt major difference I their political platforms and saw as the direction Quebec should be headed for and finally shoot themselves in the foot so that she could march to victory in the upcoming election.

Pauline Marois vs. Francois Legault: There are definitely issues between Pauline Marois and Francois Legault that stem from him once being in the Parti Quebecois and Mr. Legault not only seems not ready to put them aside for a sovereign Quebec, but is willing to put aside a sovereign Quebec to bring down Pauline Marois.  Francois Legault was very aggressive and very hostile when addressing Pauline Marois even suggesting that she was deliberately misleading Quebecer’s, when she says that she would not call a referendum if her party get elected with a majority, reminding her that he was once in her party and therefore knows  how she operates and what her agenda is.  Pauline for her part kept reminding him that before he became a traitor to Quebec, he used to be pro sovereignty and that he should be backing her and her party in her efforts to make Quebec a prosperous country when the conditions were right for another referendum.  I do not think that Pauline Marois convinced Francois Legault of anything by the way he kept on her at every chance given to him trying to prove that she was not credible, trustworthy and definitely not the person of the three to lead Quebec anywhere. Francois Legault set the tone for the debate and from that moment on Pauline Marois was to be showed for a politician of questionable  integrity, a politician who cannot be transparent with Quebecer’s about what she will do if she is given a majority government other than to pass the Charter of Quebec Values in its entirety and present form and finally a leader who has lost the control of her party.

Pauline Marois vs. Philippe Couillard:  Pauline Marois could not put Philippe Couillard on the defensive. Marois  tried to push the charter issue with Couillard, accusing him of selling out Quebec’s distinctiveness in language, culture and values and asked him to be honest about it and tell Quebecer’s the truth. Couillard replied as did all the other debaters something like this, “We could have had a Charter of Quebec Values with all party consent and that all Quebecers could have lived with and that made sense, but you and your party wanted to divide and turn Quebecers against one another for political gain, as you have in the past.   Couillard even hinted that Pauline Marois could teach him nothing about honesty, or integrity. As with the other debaters Pauline Marois’s attitude became combative as she pointed her finger and threatened  Couillard like she really thought that she was a queen holding court admonishing a one of her subjects who she felt had forgotten his station and worst of all hers and was closed to earning her wrath. Pauline Marois kept stating that they were there to talk about electing a party to run Quebec as though that meant that keeping the people of Quebec from understanding her party’s platform, or when or if she would hold a referendum on sovereignty was not on the table for this debate.

Pauline Marois vs. Francoise David: I have never seen a queen beg before, but that is what Pauline Marois looked to be doing as she admitted that she would love to have Francoise David become a member of the Parti Quebecois, because she  acknowledged that Francoise David and her party wanted the same thing in the end and just had a different way to get at it and that having another party splitting the sovereignty vote  would kill any chance of her party getting the majority government status they needed to pass the Charter of Quebec Values setting the ground work to get the right conditions for a referendum on Quebec’s separation from the rest of Canada. Francoise David smiled at hearing the invitation, but basically said that her party did not believe in duping the people of Quebec who had the right to know that a vote for her and her party was a vote for a referendum on sovereignty.  Francoise David agreed with the other debaters who said they would not agree with the Quebec Charter of Values as it was in its present form and also suggested that it could have been passed with all party consent with amendments, but the Parti Quebecois were look ling to score political points rather than make sense.  About Pauline Marois integrity, she mentioned how Pauline Marois backed the students to get votes in the last election and then once elected refused to honor the deal she had made with them for a zero tuition hike.

I can only conclude that Pauline Marois’s opponents must have been feeling sorry for her and decided to take it easy on the old girl, because they did not asked her about the wiretapped conversation which allegedly has someone apparently trying to get Pauline Marois’s husband to get the Parti Québécois through Pauline Marois to thwart the setup of an enquiry to look into the corruption that is plaguing Quebec’s construction industry. Philippe Couillard could have also questioned her about why the land her castle was built on was bought through a friend and business associate of her husband, how the rezoning was made possible and the allegations that the evidence given in an affidavit used to get the rezoning permit was not valid and indeed false according to the witness that signed it.

In closing Pauline Marois went into the old party line and stated what is supposed to reassure Quebecer’s that things will not get harder for them as an independent nation because for some unknown reason the rest of Canada will continue to bail out Quebec’s poor economic growth and zero prosperity present day status and future hopes.  Pauline Marois cannot guarantee that the rest of Canada will remain want to remain good friends with Quebec if it chooses to separate if it means supporting a welfare state, perhaps share the same currency even.  Why does Pauline Marois continue to lie to Quebecer’s and continue to recite her, “after all we have had a great relationship with the rest of Canada up to now speech?”

What liars is a statement that pops into my head upon hearing the tired old promise that the Parti Québécois and other pro sovereignty parties make to Quebecers that they cannot deliver on. I ask myself  the question that begs to be asked, “Why is Pauline Marois and the Parti Québécois trying to fix the relationship between Quebec and the rest of Canada with her Charter of Quebec Values and her referendum on separation, that obviously only a small minority of Quebecers want, if as she is always saying is correct that, “We get along fine with the rest of Canada,” inferring that it isn’t broken?

Pauline Marois Queen Of Quebec Or Just A Ventriloquist’s Dummy?

Quebec Flag.jpg 2I have been talking about political circuses along with the elected clowns and illusionists that work in those political circuses for some time now, because that is what Canadian politics appears to resemble these days.  I would be remiss not to talk about Quebec’s Pauline Marois, because she is the ring master of the 3 ring political circus in Quebec.  Pauline Marois says that she is, “A determined woman with a plan,” but when questioned she get’s coquettish and tries to act like a delicate, fragile lady to dignified to answer those types of personal questions, instead of responding to the  questions like the overly ambitious female barracuda that I think that she is.  I am of the opinion that this woman has done whatever her political party advisers told her she had to do to get to the top of her political arena and will do whatever it takes in the future to stay there. I believe that she has thrown her friends and political allies under the bus, rid herself of rivals from within her party who would vie for her leadership and possibly win in a fair race, or be popular, or powerful enough to dare to oppose one of her ideas for Quebec. To this end I believe that this old girl has abandon any pretense of truth, honesty and giving a damn about Quebec, or Quebecers’. I pity Pauline Marois the woman who I believe gave up her conscience, traded her morality and her desire to do good for the people of Quebec and allowed herself to be portrayed as a racist, capable and ruthless enough with a tough enough skin to  deny the Anglophone and Allophones of her province their rights under the laws of Canada.

Is Pauline Marois the Queen of Quebec, or just a ventriloquist's dummy?

Is Pauline Marois the Queen of Quebec, or just a ventriloquist’s dummy?

When it comes to politics it is my belief that Pauline Marois is no leader and does not seem to have a vision of what Quebec should look like of her own, or has abandoned it to the allure of position.  When Pauline Marois spoke for herself she believed that being bilingual was important for all Quebecers’ and for Quebec, but that was way back them and this is now.  If Madam Marois has any voice of her own I have yet to hear it and I see no evidence that she has the heart to, or shown the desire to advance any of her own beliefs.  I honestly believe that Pauline Marois is the Parti Québécois’ illusion. Pauline Marois is the dummy that sits upon the knee of her party and waits for the hand shoved up her back to move her lips and provide her with a voice from which she can speak her parties wishes.  I feel sorry for this puppet, who thought that she could eat the forbidden fruit and not have to pay the price. Pauline Marois gave up the power of her convictions in my opinion and made a deal with a political devil that now controls everything about her. Look at the Queen of Quebec when she speaks publicly and notice how she talks without conviction, like a person reading lines  that she neither believes in, or understands. I believe that Marois is afraid to ad-lib, or leave the prepared script, because her leaving the script in the last election to say it was time to go for a referendum cost her a majority government. Yes I feel sorry for poor Little Pauline Marois the little girl who dreamed of being queen of Quebec, but ended up merely a ventriloquist’s dummy, with no heart, soul, or voice of her own.

"La Closerie" - The Small Estate."

“La Closerie” – The Small Estate.”

In her personal life I believe that Pauline Marois is a greedy conniving woman who is indeed on a mission and her mission seems to be that  if she cannot be the queen of  Quebec in terms of the absolute power in her own country newly formed country  then she feels that at the very least she should live the lifestyle of a queen.  This was evident in the castle looking mansion she and her husband built on her estate.  From the sneaky round about way the land was bought, to the  accusations of the man who says that her husband tricked him into signing a paper stating that he lived in an unheated run down shack on the property during a time he did not, begged that questions be answered by Pauline Marois and her husband.

Facts:

  1. Instead of buying the land designated farmland for themselves, they get a friend to do it for them, so it looks better politically says the friend that purchased the land for them.
  2. The friend applies for a permission to build a house on the land and is refused, because of a law that is protecting rapidly disappearing Quebec farmland. The law states that someone had to be living on the land in a house before the law came into being in order for the law not to apply.
  3. This friend of the Marois’s get’s some man to sign a paper saying he lived in a house on the land during the specified time required forcing the reversal of the previous decision disallowing the rezoning of the farmland.
  4. Once the permission to rezone is granted this friend immediately sells the property to the Marois for the amount of money he bought it for before rezoning, instead of the value after the rezoning a difference of approximately $700,000.00
  5. The man whose name who was supposed to be living on the property during the time required to make the rezoning legal comes forward and insists that he was tricked into signing the document. He and further swears that  he did not read the document that stated that he lived in a run down building, with no power or running water on the property during the time in question year round.
  6. This man claims that it was Pauline Marois’s husband who approached him with the document and that it was Pauline Marois husband who gave him a $1600.00 gift for his troubles.
  7. Pauline Marois and her husband decide to use land expropriated and slated for a highway project as the entrance way onto their property and put up a gate and private property signs even thought they do not own the public land and it is they who are the trespassers.
  8. Fence up they proceed to build a road to their house, and duck ponds on the side of that road as though the property belongs to them.
  9. During an election campaign Pauline Marois deliberately tried to mislead reporters by pretending to live in a modest house she owned taking them on a tour of it, when she was already living in her castle on her estate. Reporters were never given a tour of her estate which her and her husband call, “La Closerie” – The Small Estate.” If you want to know every detail of this underhanded deal go to this link and just read the lengths of which Pauline Marois’s husband goes to first to hide the fact that he is actually purchasing the land, the less than honest manner he employs to get it rezoned and tell me honestly and with a straight face that this whole thing was done transparently and legally.  How estate was built on public, farm lands – Vigile.net

The latest unproven and unsubstantiated rumor is that Pauline Marois called this election to avoid  her and her husband Claude Blanchet from having to go before and answer the questions of the National Assembly’s Committee concerning her and husband’s knowledge and possible interference with the set-up of the Charbonneau Commission.  Now like I have stated this is all unproven, but a question that every Quebecer should be asking themselves and Pauline Marois is why do these questionable, shady deals keep coming to light with her and or her husband’s name attached to them; (a) the questionable way they bought the land, (b) got the zoning changed (c) tax payer public land being used by her and her husband as the private entrance to “La Closerie” – The Small Estate,” their private estate and now this Charbonneau Commission thing.

Two Questions that the opposition parties want answered are:

  1. Did Premiere Pauline Marois’s husband, businessman Claude Blanchet, and the FTQ, try to enlist Marois and her Parti Québécois in 2009 to help  them thwart the set-up of a public inquiry into corruption in Quebec’s construction industry, because the FTQ’s solidarity fund had made a major investment in one of Claude Blanchet’s businesses?
  2. Why would FTQ president Michel Arsenault say that the PQ would not want a public inquiry into construction corruption, because “they will be hit, too,” and “because we have a deal with Blanchet?”

Marois’s election call last week killed the National Assembly committee and the order for Marois and her husband Claude Blanchet to testify and she is not talking about it and no news agency, or news paper is pushing the issue! Pauline Marois has repeatedly denied there was a deal and has said the PQ was never asked to stop a corruption inquiry from happening, calling the claim “ridiculous.”  I say that where there is smoke there is usually fire and I wonder why there have been no questions from the press to Pauline Marois about this matter? I would hammer her at every turn and force her to answer if I was a citizen at her hand shaking sessions and every time one of her candidates held a news conference, or coffee shop talk, or tried to shake my hand I would ask him or her what is the story on the Blanchet/FTQ deal.  I guess the case could be argued that the time was right for an election with Marois’s and her party’s ratings showing both high  in the polls with the possibility of winning a majority, but in the same breath with lots of time left on her present mandate one could ask why not clear up the dark cloud of suspicion hanging over her and her husband’s head and go before the National Assembly Committee and answer the questions that they were ordered to do by the National Assembly?  Why carry this suspicion into an election unless the 50% of suspicion that could be caused by calling the election and shutting down the committee is the better choice, because going before the National Assembly and answering the questions put to them would prove to 100% of Quebecers’, that Pauline Marois and her husband did try to thwart the set-up of a public inquiry into the corruption in Quebec’s construction industry, because the FTQ’s solidarity fund had made a major investment in one of Claude Blanchet’s businesses and this meant that as the FTQ president Michel Arsenault said,  “they will be hit, too,  because we have a deal with Blanchet?”

Which story is more important and which story do Canadians need investigated by media?

Which story is more important and which story do Canadians need investigated by media?

In closing I would offer up this thought, “When a reporter suggested that the mayor of Toronto was smoking crack the news went viral and the pursuit of Mayor Rob Ford almost looked like a witch hunt and continues to this day.  When challenged about their motives and tactics the members of the press and their agencies all took the position that the right of the people to know what is going made it their duty to report the story. Does the press now say that what is going on with the allegations concerning Pauline Marois credibility and the fact that her or her husband may tried to thwart the set-up of a public inquiry into the corruption in Quebec’s construction industry, because the FTQ’s solidarity fund had made a major investment in one of Claude Blanchet’s businesses, has no public interest and does not need to be pursued with the same determination as the Rob Ford crack story and its never-ending spin-off stories?  Makes you kind of say, what is up Canada.”

Conservative Party Of Canada’s Newest Circus Clown Mark Adler Defends His Private Members Bill

Duh, please wait I'm trying to get through to the PMO as we speak, so they can tell me what to say!

Duh, please wait I’m trying to get through to the PMO as we speak, so they can tell me what to say!

What is up Canada?  The Conservative Party of Canada is like the gift that just keeps giving, I say to myself with tongue in cheek.  Conservative Party of Canada’s newest circus clown Mark Adler has to be the biggest patsy the PMO’s office has had the pleasure of using to date.  Why a person smart enough to run and win an election would allow the PMO to make him look like a total ass for lack of a better word is beyond my comprehension. Every time Mark Adler enters the center ring at the Stephen Harper Circus to defend his private members bill the sound of circus music calling me to the witness the greatest show on earth comes to mind and I see him as pictured above.  I mean this guy might as well be wearing clown makeup and a big round red nose, for goodness sake. To be fair I will state from the start that I do not like the Conservative Party of Canada right now. Anyone who reads this blog knows how I feel about Stephen Harper and his political party and what I think that they have done to hurt this country.  If there is anyone who did not know, or is new to this blog there you have it, my admission, “I am partisan in my opinion and action.” I feel the way I do mostly, because in my opinion Stephen Harper and his Conservative Party of Canada feel that they are above the laws of Canada  and seek to undermine the workings of the checks and balances, put in place to keep parliamentarians from breaking the rules of parliament, elections and the laws of Canada.

What really aggravates me though and gets under my skin is when the Conservative party of Canada MPs leave the pig sty they have turned parliament into and sling mud at decent, hard-working, honest government employees who are trying to do the job that they were hired to do. This Harper government does this in an attempt to ruin their careers, assassinate their characters and diminish their integrity in an attempt for members of the Conservative Party of Canada to appear justified and to be able to continue  committing crimes like cheating in order to win elections.  This new private members bill, (C-520)  that Mark Adler is trying to get passed into law is a typical of the type of bill designed more to get revenge on the agents of parliament, Canada’s watch dogs on the government, for doing their jobs.

When questioned in committee by opposition parties, Mark Adler was almost reduced to tears as he was asked to show just one example of where one of the 9 agents of parliament, or one instance where any one in their staff acted in a partisan manner that would make Bill C-520 necessary as he stated it was in his opening statement.  It became torturous to watch this man not be able to answer any of the questions put to him about the need for this bill, or provide any proof to substantiate his claims.  What we got from Mr. Adler instead when the opposition parties asked him direct questions concerning the merits and reasoning behind  his, “Bill C-520”  was a prepared PMO statement that went like this, “I am not here to talk about any specific case, or how this bill relates to it, I am here to talk about Bill C-520.”   When his Conservative colleagues asked him questions on Bill C-520 we got at the end of each question this, “Transparency is a good thing and so I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would object to more of it?”  What he was able to do however was when given the opportunity run down the Liberal Party of Canada on matters that had absolutely nothing to do with his Bill C-520.

When asked directly did he think that the Chief Electoral Officer, the Auditor General and Ethics Commissioner, or any of the other 6 agents of parliament that are listed in his private members Bill C-520, or any of their staff were guilty of the partisan activity that made supposedely prompted  him introduce his bill,  Mark Adler goes silent, his lips quiver, his face get’s the look of a little child looking for help and admits with silence that he does not have any proof.  Mark Adler’s  Bill C-520 is a bill has a different agenda and purpose than the one that is being put forward and it would appear that he his is not privy to that agenda or purpose, or that he is not willing to share that purpose with the rest of parliament and therefore the rest of Canadians.  With that said, and all of the trouble the Harper government has been going through because of their dishonesty, their refusal to follow the rules and laws of this country and electoral system, I  think that I as a citizen could deduce the purpose and agenda behind this supposedly private members bill put forth by Mark Adler.  I think that the Conservative Party of Canada has decided that they wanted to smear and put into question the partisanship of  9 agencies of parliament, their executives and their staffs so that come election time they would hope to have convinced the voters of this country that, “The only reason that they were accused so many times for breaking the rules and the laws of Canada is that they were fighting a grandiose conspiracy.  the conservatives I believe hope to convince Canadiains to put our faith in them just one more time  now that they have fixed the partisanship problem and and allowed the sunlight shine in  on the darkness of the conspiracy and elimunating it. They hope that by shedding light on what they are calling a conspairacy will get the voters to vote for them  and which they feel would be best for Canada and Canadians.

I think that this is a grab for more power by the government and a move to keep the institutions in place that lend the appearance of  government being held accountable by independent arms length agencies of parliament. The reality is that thes agencies and their agents have been stripped clean of all of their investigative powers and of all of their ability to seek out the punishment that those found guilty should have to pay.  Mark Adler is correct in one thing and that is that this bill is not only beneficial to the Conservative Party of Canada it is beneficial and handcuffs the 9 agencies of parliament from doing their jobs related to all  political parties no matter what their status in the house.  All one would have to do to delay an investigation if Bill C-520 did come into effect was say I think that I am being treated unfairly, talk about senators and MPs having their cake and eating it too.  What a joke, if I have said it once I have said it a thousand times, “Canada when it comes to holding the government to account and having transparency in the government is a joke. When it comes to Canada there are two classes of law and justice, what is allowed and what is not allowed and that is one for citizens who have to obey them and one for the senators and MPs that make them and are allowed to ignore them, because they view themselves and enact laws that put them above the law.  The question really is are we as citizens going to sit on our collective asses and allow this injustice not only continue, but allow it to get even worse?  I do not suggest anything as bad as what happened in the Ukraine, but I do think it is time to get up take to the street and protest and make ourselves heard, or we deserve everything that will be coming our way in the near future from the next set of fraudster, cheats and liars passing themselves off as honest politicians out to do good for us, our children and Canada.

MP Brad Butt Exposed As Another Conservative Party of Canada Liar And Party Embarassment

We are innocent.jpg pWhat is up Canada? Is there no end to what the Conservative Party of Canada will do to get at elections Canada with their proposed changes to the Canadian Elections Act.  It appears that the Prime Ministers Office is prepared to allow its members to lie in the House of Commons without sanctioning them when they are caught.  Brad Butt said in the House of Commons on Feb 6 2014, “I will relate to him something I have actually seen,”  (Version A) “On the mail delivery day when voter cards are put in mailboxes, residents come home, pick them out of their boxes, and throw them in the garbage can.” “I have seen campaign workers follow, pick up a dozen of them afterward, and walk out. Why are they doing that? They are doing it so they can hand those cards to other people, who will then be vouched for at a voting booth and vote illegally.”  Brad Butt has said this more than once, smearing the good work of campaign workers and falsely accusing them of participating in illegal activities by trying to rig elections.  I can only guess, since Brad Butt refuses to say why hew lied, that Brad Butt lacking any real reason to back the changes proposed to the Canadian Elections Act by his party decided to invent one and help his party out. Brad Butt’s trying to sway members of parliament to vote in favor of the Fair Elections Act and worse sway the voters listening and watching with deliberate lies unfortunately is a normal for the Conservative Party of Canada says their party House Leader Peter Van Loan, referring to the deliberate lies as,”. He has also been quoted as saying, (Version B) “On mail delivery day when the voter cards are delivered to community mailboxes in apartment buildings, many of them are discarded in the garbage can or the blue box. I have actually witnessed other people picking up the voter cards, going to the campaign office of whatever candidate they support and handing out these voter cards to other individuals, who then walk into voting stations with friends who vouch for them with no ID,” Butt said in the House.  Brad Butt  in no version ever says he was told by someone else, Butt said he had seen signs of cheating in apartment buildings in his riding. that was twice in the House of Commons on the same day.  Bad Butt was not done lying yet though, on Feb. 13, in a committee, he repeated a similar story but said he’d only heard of it “anecdotally.” After a one-week break from Parliament, he stood up on Monday to say it was not true.  How can  the Canadian citizen view this serial liar who appears to be incapable of telling the truth  and who has told the same lie repeatedly on different days in different places during working hours while using his influence as an elected official to sway the other MPs and Canadians be considered to be merely misspeaking and to then be expected to view the political party that condones and does not punish such behavior when its members get caught as anything but duplicitous and in fact a willing participant in the actions of Brad Butt?

How can we believe as Canadian voters that The Fair Elections Act is an honest attempt at making the elections process fair when the methods used to promote the bill and the reasons given for the need for the changes are based on false evidence and lies from the very political party sponsoring the bill.  To further add to the impression that the Conservative Party of Canada sees nothing wrong with lying and cheating in the House of Commons and to the Canadian people by extension as long as it done by them, Peter Van Loan when answering questions on CPAC seemed to be saying that it was no big deal and that Brad Butt did not intentionally mislead parliament at all, but had merely misspoken on 3 different occasions in at least 2 different places and that since he stood up and set the record straight that some how we should believe that it was all a mistake and we did not hear what we heard and just drop the matter.  Brad Butt had admitted that he had witnessed the  serious crime of election fraud from the beginning to the end and did nothing to stop it, or report it to the proper authorities. Just to reiterate, Conservative Party of Canada MP Brad Butt, observed voters registration cards being delivered by the mailman, dumped in the garbage can by people residing in his building and collected by campaign workers and passed out to people ineligible to vote so that they could vote illegally and did nothing about it.  What does that say about Conservative Party of Canada MP Brad Butt that Brad Butt did not try to stop the fraud by reporting it? Why did he not report what he saw to the head of Elections Canada?  Where was his deep concern for keeping  elections fair back then?  Why would a member of parliament who witnessed election fraud taking place not feel it his or her duty to stop it?  The answer is simple it did not happen and rather than be shown as an MP that shirked his duty to the people of Canada, Brad Butt decided to tell the truth that he had been lying from the start.  I can only guess that Brad Butt and his political party think as they have shown in the past that lying to the people of Canada is okay, because they feel that all the other parties are engaged in it.

How many  more of these  anecdotal stories have the Conservative Party of Canada based the changes deemed by them necessary to the existing election Act on? If this is not a real  question on the minds of Canadians, I would wonder why not? I think that a more important question is how much influence or impact has the out right lies of its MPs had in the reasoning for the massive changes forced into law through the Conservative Party of Canada’s omnibus bills?  Remembering that this government has use time allocation to limit debate on bills more often than any other government in the history of Canada which I feel is shutting down the democratic process, I wonder how many other allegations against public officials are as unfounded as this one by Bad Butt?  These Brad Butt types of unwarranted allegations seem to be the basis and foundation for bills such as Bill C-23, Bill C 520 being rammed down Canadians throats. Bill C-23 and Bill C-520 are supposed to make public officials more accountable and fair-minded in a hope of reducing partisanship.  The Conservative party of Canada has yet to furnish one solid piece of evidence to support its claims that the Elections Act needs to be changed, but continues to tell what it calls,”anecdotal stories” as though they are facts and all the proof they need. Unfortunately these stories portray all public workers from the ground up as being part of a grandiose conspiracy to aid in their opponents. It accuses Elections Canada employees, volunteers and campaign workers of doing things like rigging elections by drumming of false charges against them, but if the only proof of any wrong doing are lies flowing from the Conservative Party of Canada’s MPs mouths, then how can we trust this government that anything it says, is the truth?
